Liam was a foster fail in 2014 when he chose my husband Jim as his person. Liam came from a rural shelter and was in an IVDD episode requiring surgery when he came to me as a foster. He was an unrepentant biter, and would not let anyone help him with his post-op PT except Jim. From that point on there was no doubt that Liam had chosen his home and his forever person. He recovered fully from his surgery and we could never prevent him from running, climbing, and jumping whenever he wanted. Liam passed away in 2022 from a rare auto-immune disease and he is greatly missed by his human.
