2 years ago, these two little black and tan dachshund puppies joined our family. We randomly came across Chapman's Dachshund Rescue website where they had just posted that they had received two litters of puppies. We toyed with the idea of getting a dog some day. So we decided to go visit them. There were only 3 puppies left, all so cute with their big brown puppy eyes. After minutes of being there we knew we had fallen in love, so we spontaneously brought not just one, but two puppies home that day! We knew we wanted cute German names for such traditional German dogs. Lotte is short for Charlotte and Keks means "cookie". They have brought so much love and happiness into our lives.
