In 2008 I found Dieter in a tiny crate. He was covered in fleas and for awhile I wasn't sure he really was a dachshund. Fast forward seven years and he is a fat and happy boy. He loves to play and destroy any toy with fluff. He has more personality in his little body than most humans do. It's also become very clear that I didn't rescue him, he rescued me.
