Having just lost our sweet puppy mill rescue, Nina, we were desperate to bring another rescue into our home. We are dachshund people, so there was no doubt as to what we again wanted. 3 days after losing Nina, our little dapple boy Cody came into our lives. Once we saw his living situation, there was no way he was not coming home with us. We had applied to Chapman's rescue, and two weeks after bringing home Cody, we got the call informing us of new dogs that had just been received at Chapman's and would we like to come adopt one. We got into the car, headed to York, and fell in love with Layla (aka Butter) ar first sight. She completed our new little family. The two of them are truly bonded, and life couldn't be greater. Thank you Gina for our sweet girl.
