Cooper and Matilda are 6 years old and were rescued from a shelter in Oklahoma after being dumped there by a puppy mill breeder. We adopted them in March 2016 and they were transported by volunteer drivers from Oklahoma to Connecticut. At first they were shy and reserved and never left each other's side. In the few months we have had them they have blossomed into amazing dogs with their own personalities. Cooper is curious and explores the world. Matilda is happy hiding under the couch.. But just mention 'dog park' and they will knock you over racing to the door. They are also adjusting to human contact. They love petting and belly rubs but are still afraid to be held. We celebrate the little steps they take adjusting to life outside a cage and they make us so proud!
