JohnBoy is 17 in this picture. He began life as a breeder. When he was retired at age five, I saw his picture online and fell in love. He joined me and two sisters in NC. He loved long walks in the park and play dates with a friendly nondoxy. They chased each other around and around then collapsed in the sun for a nap. In his later years he preferred sitting beside me in the big recliner and watching TV. He was the elder statesman to three doxy sisters and took good care of them. He is a special snuggle buddy when it is time to go to sleep. He is the king of this castle.
