Please tell us something fun or interesting about the dog in your photo
Taz (aka "Spaz") was found living in some woods near a busy highway in Warner Robins, Georgia. It took us two weeks and a lot of hot dogs to catch him. It didn't seem that anyone was looking for a lost chow in the area. He was in bad shape. His hair was in terrible condition and he was heartworm positive. He also had an extreme fear of people, but he's never been aggressive. He's all flight, not fight. We were going to try to find him a forever home, but because of his fear of people, we became his forever home. He's been to dog training for 8 weeks and learned to sit and walk nicely on a leash, but socially, he still has miles to go as far as trusting people, including people that he sees everyday (my kids), but he does love me and my husband and is warming up to my kids (sort of). He enjoys playing with my other chows, especially Lee. He's also discovered that he likes sleeping in our bed! He's come a long way since the woods!
