Rules

Photos of cats, dogs, horses, small mammals and birds are accepted. Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from the Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue to enter. Photos must contain only pets – NO humans. Photos should be in focus and of high quality. Photos must be high resolution (we recommend at least 6MB or higher). Photos must be in .JPEG format.

Photos must be landscape (horizontally-oriented). Vertical or square submissions will NOT be considered for feature spots in the calendar. Photos must not be altered, other than minor contrast, brightness, etc.

Photos with red eyes or glowing eyes will not be accepted.


Only one photo submission per entry fee is allowed. You may submit as many entries as you like, but they must be of a different pet. Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, obscene, etc, as determined by Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue, will be removed from the contest with no refunds. Once entered, photos become the property of the Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue and may be used for print and marketing purposes. Charlie's Crusaders reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary.

The online submission AND voting period begins on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 8 a.m. EST and ends on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11 p.m. EST. Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 1, 2017.

Photo submissions must include:

1. Name of pet
2. Owner's Name
3. Owner's Phone
4. Date Pet was Adopted (if applicable)
5. Owner's Email Address
6. Owner's City and State

Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 1, 2017.


Each entry is $15. Each vote is $1 with a five ($5) vote minimum. Donations made through the Calendar Contest and Online Voting donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested.


Reserve a day to honor your animal. Your animal's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $25. Each Friend of Charlie's Crusaders Sponsor will receive one calendar. Reserve your day here »
