Kirby was picked up on the streets of Charlotte, horribly matted and clearly neglected. Despite the conditions he came from, he still had a perpetual smile on his face and was affectionate to everyone he encountered. He entered our home as our foster dog and stole our hearts with his fun and mischievous spirit.... We couldn't let him go.
