A little about me...Even though we don’t know how he became blind, Stevie Wonder has lightened up my life ever since I adopted him. For me, it was always about the little things: how he found his way to the water bowl, to napping on my couch, to sleeping on my bed to give me cuddles, and finally how he became my permanent adventure buddy. At first, I was hesitant to adopt a dog with a disability, but then as I spent more time with Stevie, he’s just your regular dog that happens to be blind. He loves peanut butter and treats. He loves long walks and rivers. He loves sunbathing in the yard. He just sometimes will bump into things (even though I’ve tried so hard to make my home as accessible and bump-free as possible). But, nevertheless, I’m glad he bumped into me.
