A little about me...
Dink, originally "Gentleman" while at the CASPCA, is quite the character. We originally named him after the cat in the movie Hocus Pocus, but got thebspelling all wrong. However, later I learned " dinq" is a naval term for delinquent...he is a handful, especially in his early years. He loves to play, but if caught, walks away as if nothing had happened.
He stole my heart when I went to the SPCA to bring a furnaby in for cremation. My friend and I walked the cat halls and stopped to talk. While talking to my friend, he interrupted my conversation twice by tapping on my shoulder with his paw. I turned to look at him in his cage and he'd meow. I turned back around and felt the tapping again. I turned around and he mowed. I decided to open the cage and he lunged at me and wrapped his paws around my neck and then snuggling into the crook of my arm. I think he was trying to escape. Anyway, after I left, I couldn't get him out of my mind. A week later I went back and adopted his cute furry self.
Currently, he is spoiled rotten, loves to snuggle and cuddle ( on his terms), eat treats, and grumbles at my 3 other cats. His nickname is Mr. McGrumbles as he grumbles when the other 3 try to play and when he is annoyed. He does love his laser pointer and we hold quite lively conversations together.
