Reeses is my little momma dog. My 3 other dachshunds are her puppies, and she still tells them who's in charge at 11 yrs old. When I got her at 10 weeks old she melted my heart and took over the whole household, including the 3 large Rottweilers telling them she is the Queen. She helped me get through and leave an abusive marriage. She remains happy and playful even through some back issues, so much so that I thinks she forget she is a senior dog. She helps others remember you don't have to act your age. She has helped my mom who has dementia to be happy by playing with her, and I mean Reeses plays with my mom! Reeses is the Queen of our house and not by being mean but with love and setting the example of senior energy!
