Tell us a little something about your dog (what they mean to you, your favorite thing about them, what they have taught you, or their rescue story)
I adopted Dmitri, formerly Henry, from Doxie by Proxy in 2021 after losing my 15 year old dachshund, Cleo. Dmitri came into my home and he and Shadow were instant friends. Dmitri is a special needs dog because of incontinence issues, but it’s not that big of an issue. Dmitri is a loving and snuggly pup that has come far since he’s been in my home. He loves very fluffy toys. He’ll either run around with them or roll around on the ground with one in his mouth. He also loves hooves and will walk around with them in his mouth. He even keeps them during diaper changes.
