These Three Rescue Weens…

Kevin (left) joined our family 9 years ago from an SC rescue. Kevin has IVDD but that has never slowed him down. He is King of our castle in his wheels or his stroller. Kevin opened rescue doors that we did not know we needed opened. Kevin is without a doubt one of the greatest decisions our family has ever made. As a senior now, he is raising up the young guys, always cozy in layers of blankets & reminds everyone when it’s dinner time!

Chase (middle) is a Doxie by Proxy alum. He earned his name because on day two he slipped his leash & we “chased” him. We trapped him two days later & Kevin became his comfort dog! Chsse has high anxiety & gets all his courage from his brothers. Chase is a mama’s boy, happy with his basket of Lamb Chops. Kevin’s heating pad & Logan’s tug-of-war partner.

Logan (right) is also a Doxie by Proxy alum. Logan bit his way through DBPR so we offered to foster to work with him (and his teeth!!). Logan is quite the catch - he works weekly in training classes, walks more than 15 miles a week with Chase, tries to escape the fence & take down animals, & soon will start barn hunting. Logan plays hard & loves hard!

In addition their hopelessly devoted pawrents, these boys are supported by their Shepherd big sister Pipa & their very lazy beagle brother Jude.
