Tell us a little something about your dog (what they mean to you, your favorite thing about them, what they have taught you, or their rescue story)
Was that a squeaky? I know I heard one. Where is it? Sorry. I get easily distracted by squeakies. I’m Shadow and I’m 13 years old, but I don’t act a day over 4! Especially if squeakies are involved. My momma rescued me in May 2015. She was told that I love toys and ate shoes. I’ve never eaten momma’s shoes and it took a while for momma to figure out what toys I love. When she brought home the first squeakies for me…OMG! I was SO excited! Momma says I’m a funny little dog because I put my squeaky on the ground then pull a blankie over it. I’ll stand on the squeaky and bounce as I pull and rip the blankie. I’m only allowed to do this with blankies on the floor. Squeakies are not allowed on the couch or bed. (Sometimes I sneak them but don’t tell momma) I have two little bratty brothers, Dmitri and Avett. I mean all brothers are bratty right? They might be annoying, but I still love them. Avett lets me lick him when I’m having anxiety. Dmitri doesn’t allow it. I tried and he growled at me. To be fair I did the same when he licked me. Dmitri is such a diva with his long hair. I’d probably be hacking up hairballs like a cat if I licked him. Please vote for me so I can rub it in my brothers’ faces that I am in fact a queen.
