Tell us a little something about your dog (what they mean to you, your favorite thing about them, what they have taught you, or their rescue story)
We adopted Maverick from the shelter in 2021, and he has been the best addition to our family. Though we don’t know much about his past, he has taught us patience, compassion, and the joy of unconditional love. Maverick is the laziest boy you’ll ever meet, content to spend his days napping in my office surrounded by his favorite squeaky pigs. Despite his love for relaxation, he’s always willing to participate in the occasional photo shoot—often dressed in one of his many outfits, thanks to my gentle persuasion.

What I love most about Maverick is his calm, affectionate nature and the way he brings warmth and laughter to our home. Every day with him is a reminder to slow down, enjoy the little things, and appreciate the comfort of family. He’s more than a dog—he’s a constant companion, a source of joy, and a little teacher of life’s simple pleasures.
