Tell us a little something about your dog (what they mean to you, your favorite thing about them, what they have taught you, or their rescue story)**Since this entry, my Gracie girl has crossed over the rainbow bridge. I am devastated! She has been my ride or die and I’m left broken…She shared a wonderful life with me and I’m determined to do something special for her upcoming birthday on 10/31 and will make a donation in her name.**
Gracie is my true Hallo-weenie. She was born on 31 October 2007. She is named after my Grandmother because she is my angel.
Gracie travels the world with me and has more frequent flyer miles than most humans. She has lived all over the USA and several countries due to her proud parents being military.
Gracie enjoys traveling in her bag and/or stroller because she never leaves her Momma’s side. Gracie attends worship nights, church services, military briefings/meetings, Doctor appointments, restaurants, play dates, boat rides, bike rides, airplane travels, hospital rooms and just about every gathering she is allowed to attend - because otherwise her family doesn’t go. Gracie is our world and her Momma loves her to pieces and even sings “You are my sunshine” each morning when she wakes and gets her morning massage. Then her day begins with home cooked meals from her Nanna and then off to finding any ray of sunshine she can bake her honey color skin in to until she turns a shade of red…and watch out ghekos and squirrels because Gracie is coming for ya until 9PM when she waits at the bedroom door and signals it’s time for “choo choo nah-nah” and off to snuggles it is.
Gracie fills our world and she will be loved with every heartbeat she blesses us with…As a life well lived for 18 years and one that fills our souls.
Blessed and loved by many.
