Meet Oskar Meier—our goofy, lovable rescue with a big heart and an even bigger personality! His name reflects his German roots, but his story is all about resilience, second chances, and love.
Oskar came into our lives two years ago when his former family was overwhelmed caring for a sick senior pup, newborns, and starting a new business. On top of that, Oskar had just been diagnosed with epilepsy. We opened our arms and hearts, determined to give him the home he deserved. With patience, medical care, and plenty of love, his seizures are now fully under control, and he has blossomed into the happiest, quirkiest pup you’ll ever meet.
He’s a champion of tiny squeaky balls, proud owner of the funniest paddle feet, and never misses a chance to “kiss” us with his affectionate licks when it’s cuddle time. He quickly joined forces (sometimes to the mild annoyance of his sisters Eden the hound, Maizy the feisty chihuahua, and cousin Bowie!)—copying everything they sniff, chase, and roll in.
Oskar may have started his journey with challenges, but he’s proof of what love, patience, and family can do. We’re so proud of him and hope you’ll vote for our sweet, silly boy in this event—because every rescue deserves their moment to shine!
