I adopted Flora shortly after coming home from the Army. Adjusting to regular life again wasn’t easy, but she’s been my best friend through it all. She’s the first face I see every morning and the one who keeps me grounded on tough days. She’s taught me patience, joy, and how to slow down and appreciate the little things again. She’s my reminder that love can heal all things.
