We adopted Jack 13 years ago from CCHS. He's now 15, and we are so lucky to have found him. Although his naps are more frequent and a little longer, he can still give a squirrel a good chase and knows more words than most people (we think he does the NY Times Sunday crossword when we're not home). Jack's sweet face and gentle soul have melted countless hearts over the years. He has traveled with us all over the east coast and been a welcome houseguest everywhere. We're pretty sure some of our friends only invite us to visit so they can see Jack. Although he's one in a million to us, Jack is one of thousands of wonderful dogs and cats who have found good, loving homes thanks to CCHS. If he could talk, Jack would say that although he would appreciate your vote, even better would be support of CCHS however you can - there are thousands more animals who need all of us. Jack would also thank all the kind and compassionate humans who continue to make a difference, every day.
