Pet's Story
Hello there, my name is Daisy Mae. I would like to tell you about my Forever Family. A few years ago I had a family that I thought would be my family until my dying days. Unfortunately, they chose to not love me and take care of me the way a family should. I was hurt by them which resulted in my back getting broken and causing my back legs to become paralyzed. After that happen they chose to confine me to an outside cage. I was rescued and taken to a foster family. You see, I was coming with a lot of baggage. I did not have working back legs, no control of my bowels and a wheelchair. Soon, my Forever Family and I were connected; however there were 2 other daschunds there. I wasn’t sure about gaining a sister and brother. Once there, I was shy at first but then they came to realize that I was in charge and everyone was good with that. My family had a special doggy ramp built for me to be able to play outside. Being a daschund, I love to dig, I didn’t mention that to them ahead of time but I think that they are okay with it because after I dig holes they magically get filled in and are ready for me to dig in again. I have to say that I have trained my family well, they have provided my with a special bed that is heated, doggy diapers that constantly need to be changed, toys and all the doggy treats that I could want, I especially like the ones that look like little steaks. Just an FYI.
