A little about me...
Gemma came into my life after my other longtime canine companion passed away at age 16. She came from a nice family near Buckley whose dog just had puppies. Her mom was a Golden Retriever and her dad a Bernese Mt. dog. I wasn’t quite sure if my heart was ready for another dog at that time, but God knew better and said, ‘take her home.’ Since then, she has been my constant companion these last 9 years, navigating me through a bad breakup, the death of my mother, retirement, and moving to a new town for a fresh start. She is my favorite shot-gun rider, walking partner, camping buddy, and nature explorer. She has a very calm demeanor about her, a gentle soul, and loves everyone she meets. She gives me purpose and a reason to get out of bed every morning.
