Mama came into the Chico Animal Shelter a scared, pregnant mama cat. She gave birth at the shelter, and I took she and her babies home as a foster. That was over 10 years ago. It's safe to say this was a 'foster failure'! Her kittens were adopted out, and Mama stayed. Mama has been a wonderful little companion all these years. Her purr can move mountains. It's my favorite sound in the world.
