This is Pocky, the 4 lb wonder chihuahua! He is currently at my home as a foster dog through the amazing Chico Animal Shelter. Pocky came to the shelter as a stray; when he got to my house he laid in his bed all day and didn’t move much. He was in a lot of pain from a condition called a luxated patella, which is when the kneecap has moved out of place and makes it difficult to walk! Happily, pocky got any surgery on March 30, he is recovering great and is so much more active and happy! Thank you Chico Animal Shelter for taking the best care of the saddest animals in our community!
