Buster P. Wigglebutt was our COVID puppy. We adopted him from NWSPCA at 10 weeks old April 8, 2020. He lived the best life, spent hours lounging enjoying the sun, kicking back on his couch, running zoomies, then more zoomies, he could RUN FAST. Always our silly, fun and so bouncy boy we could count on for lots of laughs! Mr. Smarty Pants LOVED his playcare days, attending twice a week, always sharing his excitement mornings when I'd ask him are you ready to go to school? The Canine Connections team quickly became his extended family. Early February, our seemingly healthy boy was diagnosed with pythiosis, we lost him March 18, 2023, at three years young. If your dog spends time near/around rice fields, marshy/swampy or wetland areas, be aware this horrible organism is here. If symptoms arise, urgent vet intervention is critical. I miss our happy, happy boy.
