About Us

Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding is a nationally accredited non-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to encouraging the physical and mental development of children and adults with developmental, psychological, or physical disabilities. Circle of Hope's equine assisted approach incorporates cognitive, behavioral, psychological, and physical goals to increase self-confidence, self-esteem, physical independence, and social awareness. Our equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) program continues to support and meet the high standards set by PATH International, the national organization for equine therapy programs. Our program has served the Montgomery County community, Frederick County community, and the greater Washington, DC area for over 20 years and continues to have a beneficial impact on the lives of more than 200 people annually.
