A little about me...
We had recently lost our 7-yr old rescue pup, Sadie, to cancer & were devastated. I went to a CDR Meet & Greet event simply to be in the presence of dogs & pet a few; just to ease my heartache, not to adopt anyone. Then I met Hattie & she quite simply melted my heart. I just knew she was meant to be ours! We adopted her a few days later; not sure who rescued who!?!
For a pup who had mange, Lyme’s Disease, was heart worm positive, & didn’t understand what dog toys were for, she has come a long way! She’s healthy, beautiful, and is surrounded with more love & toys than she ever could have imagined! (Each night she decides which stuffed friend or ball to bring to bed with her!)
She is such an important part of our family & we couldn’t imagine life without her. We moved from DC in 2018 & she’s now living her best life in MN as you can see in the photo - adventuring in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
She is our world & we’re grateful for wet noses, slobbery kisses, & paw prints all over our hearts! ❤️🐾❤️
