A little about me...
Einstein was rescued from Columbus County, NC (coincidentally, right next to owner Abby’s hometown!) and was adopted by Abby & James in February 2021, after having fostered 5 fantastic City Dogs. Einstein was Heartworm positive when he was rescued in October 2020, and with the help of many (amazing!) veterinarians and volunteers, underwent months of treatment both in North Carolina and in DC. When he was finally available for adoption, we couldn’t meet him fast enough! Einstein is 24 pounds, but thinks he’s a full-sized Doberman, yet still loves to play like a puppy. His favorite treats are bananas and anything we’re making for dinner. Einstein spends his days playing tug-of-war and waiting for his next walk to sniff out the city’s squirrels and rats. He spends his evenings sleeping under any blanket he can find. We are happy to report that a year after his HW treatment, Einstein is doing great and is healthier than ever!! Thank you City Dogs for giving Einstein a chance!!
