Milo was turned in as a stray to Prince George's County Shelter in January 2017. He was a good weight, but was matted and long-haired, a little like "Cousin Itt" from the Addams Family. Milo was shaved down under anesthesia, and a cruelty case opened. After about three weeks, the case was closed without resolution. Milo was released to Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue in early February. I fostered Milo for the rescue, and it was love at first treat. The route to Milo's heart definitely goes through his tummy!

We adopted Milo on Valentine's Day. He loves to run around the house with wild abandon. He is thrilled (thrilled!) to see you even if you've been gone for less than a minute. He is still wary of strange people and dogs, but as he gains confidence he is becoming friendlier and spreading joy to those who meet him.
