Your Pet's Story or Bio
This is Ace, our foster dog. When he first came to us, he was very scared because he had been abused and was healing from a broken leg. He immediately took ahold of our hearts. With months of care and love, he healed and was ready for adoption. The tears flowed when we returned him to the AWLA. We thought it would take some time for Ace to be adopted as he needs to have both knees replaced. He was adopted within a few days, only to be returned a few days later because he was afraid of his new male owner. We are now Ace's long-term foster family and will care for him through his surgeries. We love him and he loves us. We belong together. We are his humans. He is our doggo. We are adopting him after his surgeries. He is home. We're all very happy.
