Mabel was tossed out of her home because her family got a puppy and she didn’t like the dog. Mabel was living on the streets for a few years and made her way to Craven County when CCHS got a call about this cat in a ladies backyard. She was chipped and when CCHS called the owners they said keep her. I am a volunteer and took her home to foster her. She’s such a great cat… I fell in love and foster failed and adopted her several years ago. Her beauty matches her personality. I have 2 dogs and while they aren’t her favorite we are a happy family. We are so very lucky to have her in our lives. 🩶🐾😻
