A little about me…
Newfs are special. We’ve said that about all the dogs we’ve had throughout the years, but there is something exceptionally unique about a Newfoundland. After working alongside 2 amazing newfs for years, I came to love their gentle, loving nature. There was a particular moment that left me with a true grasp of how truly special the breed is. We had suddenly lost our beloved shih tzu. It was devastating but working was a necessary distraction. From the moment I walked back in to work, they knew I had experienced heartbreak. In particular, the one newf that was sweet but not always interested in socializing. He instantly showered me with love, stayed by my side the whole time and watched over me with his big beautiful brown eyes. I kept saying, this is so odd but needed every moment of it and he knew that.
From that point forward, we knew we needed a Newfoundland. Cole joined us at just the right time and true to breed has brought joy, unconditional love and puppy craziness back to our lives.
