A little about me…
Fred came into CNR just before he was 2 years old. I fostered him. Not long after I adopted Fred it was discovered he had A-Fib. He was seen by a cardiologist and has been on medication since. In the fall of 2023 he bloated. His stomach did not twist until they went in for exploratory surgery. In the summer of 2024 he tore his cruciate. He saw a surgeon who said he had a locating patella too. A couple months later he tore his meniscus. He had TPLO surgery in 2025. After surgery he was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in his mouth. He has been treated for that. Recently the patella luxated again which probably happened when he had a mishap in the underwater treadmill during PT. Because of his heart and medical issues he will not have it repaired. It would be too risky for him. He is such a brave boy and I love him so much.
