Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
Hi - My name is LuLu and I am proud to say that this is my 5th straight year of entering the Pet Calendar contest. I was the first feline that won a spot on the calendar. I was a feral cat (clipped left ear) is my indication. I was 2 years old when I decided to pick a nice deck in my soon to be owners neighborhood to sleep on and stay.
They put water and food out for me every day and when fall arrived and it was turning cold, they built a heated shelter for me. All of a sudden it was Thanksgiving and a huge snowstorm--------my owner opened the deck door and I ran inside of the house and have never left. Considering that I have fought off outside wildlife when I lived outside, I have become a loving lap cat who loves to play and be pampered. However, I still don't hesitate to chase squirrels to the top of trees and off of the roof. I consider myself the guard cat of the bird feeder and backyard. I love our garden and the smell of flowers.
My owners say that I am very special and I know that I am loved. I support the Colorado Pet Pantry so that other pets who love their families do no have to go to a shelter and be seperated from their loving homes. Your votes for me will support the Pet Pantry.
