Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
Hi! My name is Barkley. I spent the first 5 years of my life in an animal testing lab. The testing lab pulled out most of my teeth, but I get by just fine with 6 teeth. I’m a survivor! Thankfully, I was released to a sanctuary alongside other lab beagles. In a few weeks, I was adopted by a couple from Colorado. I now live in a loving home with 2 other rescue siblings, Luna and Arthur. I’m still adjusting to the outside world with its scary noises and activity, but I’m finding my way. I enjoy quiet walks, tunneling in blankets, toys, wrestling with my brother, and treats (I didn’t know what toys and treats were!). Oh, and barking. I love to bark and aroooo! I’m finally learning how to be a dog.
