Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
Hi, my name is Chief! When I was just a year old, I was given away and I don't know why. I rode in a big scary van from Kansas to Colorado. Safe Harbor Lab Rescue gave me a place to stay and lots of food and snuggles. When I got to Colorado I had this thing called surgery and stayed in a room with lots of other dogs.

Then, something magical happened: I was adopted by my furever family! I have two hooman sisters and I get lots of walks and treats. I have 5 beds in my house - and all the hoomans only have one each. I am so lucky!

My favorite thing to do is find balls on walks. Ball is life! Every year, on my adoptiversary, my hoomans put all the balls I found into a box and if I pull the string just right, they all tumble down and I get to play with all of them at once!
