Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
Hi!!! I’m Ry 🐾—named after that human musician Ry Cooder (my people say he’s great, so I’ll take it). I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, which is PERFECT because I love, love, LOVE snow. Zoomies, snow snacks, cold noses—best life.
My humans brought me home at 8 weeks old, just in time to meet the whole pack at Thanksgiving. I learned the important things right away: roast turkey is amazing, belly rubs are essential, and a warm lap is pure heaven.
I thought about becoming a therapy dog, but I get way too excited about people. If someone makes eye contact with me, I obviously deserve pets—it’s just how the world works.
I live in Centennial with my humans (they say I’m an only child, but really, I’m their boss). I keep them busy with training (mostly for the treats), obstacle courses, nose work (also for the treats), tag, and hide-and-seek. My favorite toy is my best buddy, Lamby VI—RIP Lambys I–V.
I also go to daycare to hang out with my human and dog friends, and it’s the BEST. My mom and I help other animals too through volunteering and fundraising, which I assume means spreading more love (and hopefully snacks).
My motto: if you see me, you pet me. If you don’t see me, I’ll fix that. 🐶
