Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
I was not rescued.
I merely allowed myself to be brought indoors in 2014 after a brief and exhausting misunderstanding with a humane trap.

At the time, I was a young calico cloud floof with street instincts, strong opinions, and absolutely no interest in being touched unless snacks were involved. Jennifer spent months trying to “socialize” me for adoption, which was adorable. Eventually, after nearly a year, she realized what I had known from the beginning:

I was already home.

To this day, she calls me her “decorative cat” because for many years I operated under a very strict “look, don’t touch” policy. Beauty is to be admired, not handled. I trust you understand.

With age, however, comes wisdom… and selective tolerance. I now permit respectful visitors to pet me, though proper etiquette remains essential. One does not simply approach royalty without decorum.

I spend my days supervising kitten rescue operations, judging household decisions from elevated surfaces, and reminding everyone that survival, softness, and sass are not mutually exclusive traits.

Also, between us… I suspect I may have trained Jennifer far more successfully than she ever trained me.

But do not tell her that.
