Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
My life has been chaotic. I was born FIV+. I waited a long, long time in a shelter to find a home. Eventually was adopted by a human who loved me very much. Sadly my first human couldn't keep me. She gave me to her neighbor, who also loved me very much but also couldn't keep me. In January of this year I finally found my forever home. When I came home I was very sick and needed a feeding tube. I was scared my new human would reject me for being sick. After six long weeks on a feeding tube, I was able to eat again and my human stuck by side through all of it. Soon after my face swelled up and my human took me to see the doctor. The doctor said I have cancer and won't live much longer. Thankfully I know beyond a shadow of a doubt my human is here to stay and will never stop loving me.
