A little about me:
Rhiannon was introduced to Community Paws when she joined the Verrado Assembly Team as their Community Engagement Manager.

Currently, Rhiannon serves as Client Engagement Manager of Cohere where she is essential in advancing their mission of brining the life changing power of community to the world!

Before joining the Cohere Team in Verrado, Rhiannon served as the Assistant Director of the West Valley Arts Council she was responsible for all aspects of the organization’s operations including: program development, program management, administration, marketing and communications management, special event management and public relations. Rhiannon strengthened existing and created new community partnerships in support of the West Valley Art Council’s mission.

Rhiannon began her journey in Arizona over 10 years ago with the City of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department before joining the City of Buckeye’s Community Services Department as their Community Engagement Coordinator.

Rhiannon serves as the Chair of the Surprise Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission and the Chair of the Young Life Surprise Advisory Board.

When she is not working, you can find Rhiannon outdoors enjoying the beautiful Arizona weather or planning her next Disney vacation (she loves Disney).

Rhiannon is a first generation college graduate. She attended California State University, Chico (Go Wildcats!) where she graduated in 2011 with her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration (options : Tourism and Special Events and Resort and Lodging Management). She put herself through college as a single mom while bartending and is extremely proud she graduated debt-free!

Why Community Paws asked me to be a Star:
Rhiannon is representing Cohere who have taken over from DMB Community Life. When Community Paws started we could only hope we would have the support of our neighbourhood. What we didn't realise is just how much support we would receive. We were invited and are proud to be a Giving Tree partner and the incredibly hard working staff at Cohere are always open to hearing our latest fundraising or community collaborated event ideas supporting us in every capacity that they can. We are so incredibly grateful for their support. ❤️
