Mrs. Suzanne (Sue) Lange

A little about me:
Suzanne, born in Michigan and raised in New York, received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and her Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist from the University of New York. She taught Grade School & Middle school for 29 years as well as being a professor for the University of New York’s graduate program before retiring just a few years ago. During her career she was a delegate for New York State meeting with the United States Congress and Senate over educational issues. She was nominated and won teacher of the year in New York as well as in Arizona (twice).

She swam competitively for ten years culminating in the Junior Olympics, then went on to become a Level 3 coach for USA Swimming

Suzanne plays the piano and flute, has studied 4 languages, modeled in NY and has traveled to over 70 countries spanning six continents.

Currently, Suzanne lives in Arizona with her husband (whom she’s known since 8th grade). She’s active in her community, owns and runs two businesses, enjoys volunteering, just started her own 501c3 charity called Tickled Pink, and loves playing with her pup, Lola.

Why Community Paws asked me to be a Star:
If you know Sue at all, you know she is generous to a fault and plans incredible events. In 2021 Sue planned many events, raising and donating over $40K dollars to various non-profit charities. We were lucky enough to be the recipient of her Bingo night which was repeated earlier this year and she invited us to be a vendor at her Festival of Trees event. Sue is a huge dog lover, has volunteered time within the rescue world and a much needed advocate for the pitbull breed. Thank you for all you do Sue! ❤️
