Pet Bio
Winter is a rescued pup who was adopted from the Connecticut Humane Society in 2023. Many believe this 6 year old to be a puppy when they meet him, due to his curiosity and playful demeanor. In his two years with his new family, he’s made a lot friends in his neighborhood, some with four legs, but many with two! His favorite besties are the many Hartford town employees that work downtown, who he has met in his daily walks.

That said, he does have enemies — the city busses. If you are a city bus, Winter would like you to know that you aren’t welcome in his neighborhood and you should be VERY afraid of him. If not for his harness and leash, your days would DEFINITELY be numbered 😉

Fun Facts
He’s missing his front teeth and he’s an expert clapper! His favorite human-approved snack? Cheese and strawberries, but he’s not very cultured. He’s gladly swap out the cheese or strawberries for trash on the sidewalk.

Favorite Hobbies
Zoomies, playtime, barking at busses, and protecting our apartment from the vacuum.
