Pet Bio
Pura was transferred from Westport to Newington when the AC broke down. Her family’s intuition was that they would adopt her when they found out she was moving to Newington. She took some time to acclimate to her new home, but she has become incredibly sweet and loving. She has very silky fur and a gray nose.

Fun Facts
Pura is aptly named because she purrs loudly. At West Hartford Veterinary Specialists, one of the technicians showed us a picture of her cat Bugs, who is a doppelgänger of our Mrs P.

Favorite Hobbies
Pura really likes to jump up on the art table to sit on the crinkly paper. She also likes exploring boxes, desks, and closets. When it comes to attention, she likes to be brushed and even enjoys the occasional tummy-rub. She once let me rub her tummy for fifteen minutes straight! She also likes to curl up on my chest for pets.
