Pet Bio
Chloe is a Black Mouth Cur/Yellow Lab mix. She turns 2 years old on July 31st, 2026. She was picked up as a stray in the South and sent to the Packleaders Rescue of CT, in East Hartford. When I saw her picture on their website, it was love at first sight, and the rest is history. She had been previously traumatized, and was very frightened of new people, especially men. But once my husband and I got her home, she slowly began to trust that we only wanted to love her, and now she's the Princess Pupperella of the house!

Fun Facts
Chloe loves her stuffies, and having overcome her shyness, will bark at me if I don't play "chase-the-stuffie" with her several times a day! She loves to do her personally unique version of running in the backyard, by taking the end of the leash in her mouth, and spinning round and round, while advancing to the end of the yard! It's kind of hard to explain this unique way of running, but very entertaining to watch! Chloe will ferociously defend our house against all intruders, but as soon as anyone enters, she skedaddles to the bedroom so fast, she practically breaks the sound barrier! She loves lounging on (her) loveseat, snuggling with her many stuffies, visits from my Granddaughter, and being spoiled (really need a stronger word) by her "Grandmutter," when she comes up from Florida.

Favorite Hobbies
Watching neighborhood activities from the window over her loveseat. Running in her personally unique way, through the backyard. Playing chase-the-stuffie. Defending the house. Getting treats for tricks. Doing zoomies through the house, which includes jumping on and off of a fairly tall king size bed, multiple times. Begging for more biscuits, whenever she feels under-rewarded.
