A little about me...
Hello world, I’m Helix and I want to cuddle! And make friends! And sniff and carry stuff!

I’m a big fan of Conservation Dogs Collective Inc. They’re why I know and love scent work, and why the training my B.F.F. has done with me is so fun and science-y and loaded with goodies. Did I also mention I’m a big fan of treats?! As you can see, I’m also a fan of Mr. Bill.

My secret sauce is I’m an ambassador for “scary smile” dogs. At doggie daycare they nicknamed me “Smiley” ‘cause I give my favorite humans THE biggest toothy grin.

But if it weren’t for this contest, I’d be keeping a super low profile, ‘cause right now I’m waiting for knee surgery. SUCH a bummer. I’m so thankful to be able to do scent work from my house so I don’t get bored taking it easy. I’m usually up for anything – training, trail walks, and even being an office dog! Even if the world can’t see me out and about right now, you can see me here.

I also thought Finder Willow was THE best dog. She showed me how to swim!
