A little about me...
Rudy hails from Greece. His mom is an English Setter and DNA indicates his dad is a Pointer (GSP and EP). Rudy came to the US along with several of his littermate brothers. They arrived in Atlanta and Rudy stayed with his host in the Atlanta area, along with his brother Erevous. Both boys were severely malnourished and underweight. Rudy was in the worst condition of the litter and only weighed 22 lbs at 7 months old when he arrived. Rudy's host family became his foster family and then became his Forever Family when it was discovered that he and Erevous both had a neurological disease which causes knuckling under and severe ataxia the rear limbs . Erevous was adopted by his foster family in Texas. Rudy's Forever mom has had Xrays, bloodwork , MRIs and neurological vet visits conducted with Rudy. The vets are all baffled, as nothing appears wrong with this bloodwork, XRays and MRIs. There is no diagnosis and no prognosis for longevity. Rudy's Forever family loves their sweet, happy and silly little guy and he loves them so much in return! Despite his physical limitations, he loves hunting in the back yard and has such impressive natural hunting ability! He loves hunting, baths, lying in the people bed, digging holes and his fur sister Sadie. Next on deck is getting him a stroller to explore the neighborhood from!
