Your Pet's Story or Bio
Shadow was rescued from the streets of West Virginia. In his shelter profile it was explained he was adopted and then returned. He's the second dog I've adopted from the Arlington shelter that was returned which drew me to them more. Just as my previous rescue, I've focused on the issue Shadow was returned for. Six months later I have a well-trained, loyal, humorous, hilarious, and happy dog who is truly my therapy blessing while I go through a major medical condition. On my bad days he puts a smile on my face and gives me hope.
I was given a second chance in life 22 years ago, am facing another hopeful chance in life, and believe unwanted pets deserve the same while helping a human heal physically and mentally.
