There is a sacred rule for people who have December birthdays - NO Christmas themed gifts. There is NO combining these events. My boys know this rule...which is why they look so smug giving me this really hideous holiday sweater last year for my birthday (yes, that is actual plastic tinsel around the collar).

So it is with great love for Ann's Place that I make a challenge: If I can raise $500, I will wear this interesting sweater for my birthday in your honor. AND, if you decide you can donate $500 or more by yourself, I will wear the sweater on a day you choose (as long as it is not disrespectful like to a funeral or on Easter Sunday)!

Ann's Place means a lot to me. It is not just a place I work. It is a family of people who help to heal the world we live in through compassion. I am blessed to be part of this family of caring people.

Nothing would make me happier for my birthday, then to have to wear this ugly sweater because you stepped forward to help.
