Describe your art here - type of art, techniques and materials used, what your art represents and what it means to you. This digital piece was made on my touch screen computer. Using a free drawing app. But that's not what matters about this. This piece is just an eye and some letters. But to me, it means more. To me, it's telling my brother the words I never have the courage to say to his face. I've gone through some tough struggles. But everyday I came home to him, an energetic and colorful person. He is the reason I stay strong and he is the strongest person I know. The eye represents the way I care for him. He is indeed older than me. But he has his struggles, with school and with friends. But throughout that, I like reminding him he's not alone. He deserves the world.
Please include your age, tumor type and date of diagnosis (patients & survivors only) and let us know how art has impacted your life.Karen Llamas (16 yrs)
My brother had his tumor as a baby (2002-2003) but it impacted him the rest of his life. Having that Brain Tumor made life a struggle for him as it came with other un-predicted issues.
