Pet's Story
Nearly 2 years ago, we adopted a puppy from the Ark-Valley Humane Society, and we named him Sonny. While he loved being a part of our family, Sonny loved playing with other dogs, and we knew he needed a playmate. This spring, as I was scrolling through Facebook, I saw a post by the Ark-Valley Humane Society of a puppy that looked remarkably like Sonny looked when he was a pup. I was smitten! Since I was out of town, I forwarded the photo to my husband so he could admire the cuteness of the puppy. When I got home a couple of days later, I was surprised with a new family member: Buddy! Clearly, my husband, Dave, felt an instant connection to the puppy as well. Buddy and Sonny look like brothers, and they love wrestling and playing together! They also love playing with their kids, Avery and Grady! Buddy loves to snuggle in our laundry, and we were lucky to get this adorable photo of him in his happy place! We are grateful to have found two very special puppies at our local Ark-Valley Humane Society! ~Marti Bott
